Yesterday I learned that Walt Disney was born and raised in Chicago. His dad was a Carpenter who worked on the Chicago World’s Columbian Expedition of 1893. The idea of the Epcot World Showcase at the Disney World’s actually comes from Walt’s father telling him about different countries being showcased in the Fair.
